FinInteract · About

We build tools.
Not platforms.

FinInteract is a financial tools company. We make focused, practical tools that help people understand and act on their finances — without noise, without fluff. M-Pesa native. Built in Nairobi.

Why we exist.

Most financial apps are either overwhelming — full of dashboards nobody reads — or underwhelming, doing little more than showing you a number you already know.

We started with one problem: people know they should save, invest, and plan. What they lack is a clear, friction-free way to track whether they are actually doing it. So we built the Financial Goal Planner — one focused tool for one focused problem.

Since then we have expanded: a Compound Calculator, a Budget Planner, a Debt Payoff Tracker, an Investment Portfolio tracker, Recurring Transactions — and a Shop where you can buy ready-made Google Sheets (Budget, Debt, Savings, Chama, Business, Investment, Lifestyle) for a one-time payment by card or M-Pesa.

Every tool stays focused. We do not bundle things together for the sake of looking bigger. If a feature does not make the tool meaningfully more useful, it does not ship.

How we work.

These three principles guide every product decision we make.

01

Clarity.

Financial tools should be self-explanatory. If you need a tutorial to use it, we built it wrong. Every screen, every number, every label should tell you exactly what it means.

02

Precision.

We don't approximate or smooth over complexity. If the maths is hard, we do the hard maths — and then we present the result simply. You get the right answer, not a comfortable one.

03

Restraint.

We add features only when they make the tool more useful. We don't chase trends or bundle unrelated things. A tool that does one thing well is better than a platform that does ten things poorly.
