Who these terms apply to

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the FinInteract platform, operated by FinInteract (Nairobi, Kenya). "Platform" means fininteract.com and all tools and services we offer through it. By creating an account or using our tools, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, do not use the platform.

Your account

When you create an account, you agree to:

• ·Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• ·Keep your login credentials confidential.
• ·Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• ·Be at least 13 years old.
• ·Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Acceptable use

You may use FinInteract tools for lawful personal and commercial purposes. You may not:

• ·Use the platform for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorised purpose.
• ·Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access.
• ·Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
• ·Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy our tools or their underlying code.
• ·Use automated scripts to interact with the platform without our prior written consent.
• ·Interfere with the platform's availability or performance for other users.

Not financial advice

FinInteract tools are informational. They help you organise, visualise, and plan your finances. Nothing on this platform constitutes regulated financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to take any specific financial action. Always consult a qualified financial adviser before making significant financial decisions.

Calculations and projections made by our tools — including the Compound Calculator — are illustrative only. They depend on assumptions you provide and do not account for taxes, inflation, market changes, or other real-world factors.

Your data

You retain ownership of any data you enter into FinInteract. By using the platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your data solely to provide the service to you. Intellectual property

All FinInteract tools, designs, code, copy, and brand assets are owned by FinInteract and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute them without our written permission. Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership of our intellectual property.

Availability

We work to keep the platform available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may take the platform offline for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We will give notice of planned downtime where possible.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FinInteract is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform — including, without limitation, financial losses, loss of data, or business interruption. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for free accounts, is zero).

Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time and delete your account via Settings or the account deletion page.

We may suspend or permanently close accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are inactive for an extended period. Where possible, we will give you advance notice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the new terms. For significant changes, we will notify you by email.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
